We recently finished a project here at BFP Castings that using advanced CT scanning technology to accurately assess the internal porosity of vacuum die casted aluminium part, which finally installed in one premium Europe-an OEM latest generation EV platforms.
BFP engineers are using powerful X-ray technology in-house to inspect castings internal defects like shrinkage, voids, cracks, porosities, inclusions and other failures for ensuring the safey and reliability of metal casting used in critical applications.
BFP, the specialist in complex metal castings and precise machined components,using professional 3D scanner for dimensional analysis of various castings, enable us to easily visualize the part deviations through color map comparison.
BFP engineers use the advanced casting simulation software to predict and optimize potential casting defects at an early stage of process development, to minimize the trail and error costs with maximized casting quality.
BFP newly developed chassis structural casting component made of AlSi10MnMg alloys with T7 heat treatment achieved the mechanical properties better than our customer standards specified.
